WGRC BASKETBALL
WGRC Grades 3-6 Basketball is a program for kids in 3rd through 6th grade. Players are taught the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and rebounding. Teams practice 1-2 times per week and play games on weekends against other community rec teams. No try-outs are needed for WGRC Basketball.
WGRC Travel Basketball is available to boys in grades 3-6 and girls in grades 4-6. Travel teams will compete in more competitive leagues and tournaments. Practices are 1-2 times
per week with games on weekends against other community travel teams. Games may be played at Hiram college, Cardinal Middle School, Spire, and Garfield High School, for example.

WGRC Grades 1-2 Basketball is a co-ed program for kids in 1st and 2nd grades. Practices for the 2025-2026 season will start the week of December 8th. Teams will practice Friday evenings, and will play games starting in January at Cardinal schools in Middlefield. Cost is $100 per child and registration is limited!

PRACTICES & GAME INFO
Team practices begin November. Practices will be 1-2 times per week at a WG school gym.
Team practice locations will be finalized prior to season start. For applicable programs, games start in December.
